looking a bit brighter?

looking a bit brighter?

well yesterday my parents came to visit and told us that macy had them up all night saturday pooing and today my mom called to say Macy isn't eating. so now 3 dogs are sick. woody is still having loose stools but otherwise seems pretty normal. i started woody on boiled beef and rice last night so we will see how that goes.
nash had a perfect stool yesterday morning but then later in the evening had another loose orange stool. another weird thing is why is all the poo yellow/orange in color? 3 different dogs? this morning nash tried to poop and couldn't so now i am wondering if the reglan could be causing constipation, a rare side effect of the med??
yesterdy when my parents came we went up to see the babies room and forgot to close the baby gate so nashy made his way up and ended up sleeping all day in dylan's room next to the crib. i think today will help him too because it is going to be a quite day for us all. i am staying home(besides dog walks) and washing baby clothes so nashy can rest all day again:)
i took this pic yesterday... he is looking a bit brighter in the eyes but still has some sparkle to get back...

Everything went well for a while. Quite a bit of vomiting, but we got used to that and thought it was just reflux … but he was losing weight and completely off his food.

So back to the emergency room at the RCH we went. Waited in emergency room for 14 hours before being admitted. They did x-rays and said they had never seen a baby so constipated. Nobody was sure if it was just constipation or there was something more serious wrong with his bowel.

Barium enemas, tests for Cystic Fibrosis and many more tests to find out what was wrong.

Met our wonderful pediatrician who thought it could be a dairy allergy, so straight away put him on Neocate.

We were in the hospital for another 10 days and he was tolerating the Neocate well through his nasal gastric tube. The hard part was getting him to drink it because he was scared of the bottle and that stuff tastes disgusting!

We went home and every day we got him to drink a little bit more until he was drinking the correct amount and putting on weight.

But he was still vomiting several times a day.
